With 20 years experience of working in leading banks, I have always enjoyed helping people with their finances. Having a real desire to grab some control over my career, a chance conversation with one of the Directors planted the seed that being a Financial Adviser would be a great career move. I started to study in my spare time, and following redundancy, everything began to fall into place. Following a successful six months in the St. James's Place Financial Adviser Academy, I am excited and raring to go.
I have a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) and am studying towards a Certificate in Regulated Equity Release (CERAR).
I am a Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner and certified hypnotherapist.
One of my proudest achievements was to be an Olympic torchbearer in the London 2012 Olympics.
I am married to Joanne, have two boys, Ben and Jack, and a blue cat called Kenny. We live in Heaton Moor, in Stockport and as a family, we love to enjoy holidays together.
My spare time is spent watching my boys play grassroots football. I am also Chairman of Cheadle Town Football Club, which has Men’s and Ladies semi-professional teams and a thriving kid’s football section. I also enjoy playing golf and am a qualified football referee.
