Environmental, Social and Governance

At PFP Wealth, our expertise is to plan and help our clients to achieve a better future and we articulate this with the following sentence.

"Live for the moment, but plan for tomorrow so that when the next moment arrives, it's worth living…" Keith Humphrey, Managing Director

As we are Financial Planners, you could be forgiven for thinking this statement refers simply to attitudes to finance. However, the same could be said for our viewpoint on environmental and social responsibilities. The parallels between the two are stark, with both risking in an uncertain future without clear and decisive action today.

That is why it feels very natural for us to publicly state that we seek to 'do the right thing' when it comes to sustainability, our people and the wider society. We are proud that in recognition of our actions, we have been accredited by the Good Business Charter and work with the following organisations to help us progress our responsible business ambitions:

The Financial Vulnerability Taskforce

The Financial Vulnerability Taskforce is an independent representative body covering the Personal Finance Sector. Its ultimate purpose is to promote greater understanding, encourage appropriate behaviours and establish good practice regarding consumer vulnerability. At PFP Wealth, we understand that our services often involve the application of specialist and technical, financial knowledge. This places many of our clients in a position of dependency and as such, imposes upon us a greater moral duty to act in their best interests and as a 'safe pair of hands', especially to those who find themselves in vulnerable circumstances.
