I began my career in Financial Services in 1991 with Royal Life in Sheffield. Following the merger of Royal Insurance and Sun Alliance in 1997, I became an independent adviser and established my own limited company, Boardman Wealth Management. In 2004, I was invited to join the St. James's Place Partnership, and over the next 21 years, I oversaw consistent and impressive growth. In July 2025, I transferred my business to PFP Wealth to benefit from enhanced administrative and marketing support—marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
I hold the Diploma in Financial Planning and have been a qualified Financial Adviser for 34 years. I primarily support directors, high earners, and retirees with Retirement Planning and tax-efficient investing. I have extensive experience with SIPP and SSAS pension schemes. Inheritance Tax Planning is another key area of my expertise.
I’m married to Carmen, and we have three adult children: Robert, Holly, and William. We live in Wickersley, South Yorkshire. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, and staying active in sports. I’m a member of Sitwell Park Golf Club and am working on improving my handicap. I also support and sponsor Rotherham Titans Rugby Club and love cheering on my two sons in their rugby and other sporting activities.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
