Katrina Usher

With more than 20 years' experience in financial services, I have built my career helping entrepreneurs, business owners, senior executives and multi-generational families navigate the opportunities and complexities that come with significant wealth.

My experience spans financial planning, private client wealth management and senior leadership positions within some of the UK's leading wealth management organisations. Having led financial planning businesses, developed national advice propositions and contributed to investment governance, I bring a breadth and depth of experience that extends well beyond individual financial products.

Throughout my career, I have worked with clients whose financial affairs often involve multiple moving parts, including investments, pensions, business interests, tax planning and the transfer of wealth between generations. I understand these areas cannot be viewed in isolation, and effective planning requires a joined-up approach focused on long-term outcomes.

I have also supported clients through some of life's most significant financial events, including the sale of a business, retirement, inheritance, succession planning and the transfer of wealth between generations. These moments often bring both opportunity and complexity, requiring careful consideration, clear thinking and trusted advice.

My approach starts with understanding the whole picture: what matters most to my clients, what they want their wealth to achieve and the challenges or complexities they may face. Whether helping business owners prepare for an eventual exit*, supporting families with succession planning or guiding clients through significant life transitions, my role is to bring clarity, structure and perspective to important financial decisions.

I work closely with other professional advisers where appropriate, helping to ensure that financial planning, tax considerations, business interests and estate planning are aligned around a clear and coherent strategy.

Building enduring relationships is at the heart of what I do. Wealth, businesses and family circumstances evolve over time, as do legislation and financial markets. My role is to provide continuity, thoughtful guidance and objective challenge when needed, helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.

Ultimately, I want my clients to know they have an experienced adviser who understands both the detail of their financial affairs and the bigger picture. Someone they can trust to help them make thoughtful decisions about their wealth, today and for the generations that follow.

Outside of work, life is kept busy with my two teenage children and our working cocker spaniel. I enjoy getting out into the countryside for long walks, travelling, discovering new places and spending time with family and friends over good food. It provides a welcome balance to a busy professional life.

Great opportunities often begin with a conversation. Whether you'd like to discuss your financial planning needs, explore a new opportunity or simply connect and share ideas, I'd be delighted to hear from you.

Let's connect and see where the conversation takes us.
